Terms & Conditions - the basics

Terms & Conditions

  1. Service Scope – MicroTech provides IT support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for computers, mobile devices, printers, and related software/hardware. The specific scope of work will be agreed upon before service delivery.

  2. Payment Terms – All service fees must be paid in full before or at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  3. Refund Policy – Customers may request a refund within 30 days of payment as per our Refund Policy.

  4. Customer Responsibility – Clients are responsible for providing accurate information, necessary access to devices, and backing up their data before service. MicroTech is not liable for data loss during troubleshooting or repairs.

  5. Third-Party Products – Support for third-party software, hardware, or services is provided on a best-effort basis. MicroTech is not responsible for defects or limitations in products not supplied by us.

What to include in the T&C document

Generally speaking, T&C often address these types of issues: Who is allowed to use the website; the possible payment methods; a declaration that the website owner may change his or her offering in the future; the types of warranties the website owner gives his or her customers; a reference to issues of intellectual property or copyrights, where relevant; the website owner’s right to suspend or cancel a member’s account; and much, much more.
